My October Playlist!

Happy Halloween everybody!  I'm getting ready to take my nieces out trick or treating.  They are SO cute!  This year they are Batgirl and of course Elsa.  Secretly I wish I was dressing up as Elsa too.  Before all my Halloween excitement begins I wanted to share what songs I've been obsessed with this month.  I seem to have been loving a lot of female artists which is rare for me.  Girl power!  I'm still loving last month's playlist which you can check out here.  What songs have you been loving?

1. I'm In Love With A Monster by Fifth Harmony
This is a fitting first song.  I love Fifth Harmony so of course I love this song.  It's VERY catchy and a fun song.  It's for the movie Hotel Transylvania 2.  I've never seen the first one but maybe I'll take my nieces to see it sometime.  I'm so proud that they made it on a movie soundtrack.  I LOVE the video as well.  They look amazing!  Favorite lyric: Friends say I'm stupid and I'm out of my mind But without you, boy, I'd be bored all the time No, I don't really care for the same conversation Got everything I need, and I'd rather be chasing Chasing love, with a monster

2. Love Me Like You by Little Mix
They are on a roll with their new music!  I have loved every song that they have released.  I'm honestly so excited about the album.  I will be buying it for sure!  The sound is very 50's which you guys know I love.  They have really changed their sound and I think it's for the best.  The video is adorable and it makes me miss prom.  Favorite lyric: Last night I lay in bed so blue Cause I realized the truth, they can't love me like you I tried to find somebody new Baby they ain't got a clue, can't love me like you

3. Same Old Love by Selena Gomez
I have been obsessed with her lately!  I really like her mature sound.  She did it in a really classy and elegantly.  I really appreciate that because most younger artists don't do that anymore.  I'm sure she followed Taylor Swift's advice.  I actually haven't listened to her album yet but I plan on it.  I've heard it's fantastic.  I turn this song up every time it's on.  I'm loving it!  Favorite lyric: Take away your things and go You can't take back what you said, I know I've heard it all before, at least a million times I'm not one to forget, you know I don't believe, I don't believe it You left in peace, left me in pieces Too hard to breathe, I'm on my knees Right now

4. On My Mind by Ellie Goulding
This song has been my obsession!  I play it at least 10 times a day and never get tired of it.  I also constantly have it stuck in my head.  I really like how different it sounds compared to her other music.  I think it's amazing!  Supposedly this song is about Ed Sheeran but nothing has been confirmed.  I just love her and I'm a fan of anything she does.  I will totally be checking out her album.  Favorite lyric: Wait, I could have really liked you I'll bet, I'll bet that's why I keep on thinking 'bout you It's a shame (shame), you said I was good So I poured it down, so I poured it down And now I don't understand it You don't mess with love, you mess with the truth And I know I shouldn't say it But my heart don't understand Why I got you on my mind

5. Cake By The Ocean by DNCE
When did Joe Jonas create a band?  I had no idea he was singing until I saw them on TV.  Ir sounds nothing like him but I do love the song.  I do wish it was out during the summer instead because it has that vibe.  It's a very catchy song.  I haven't heard any other music by them so I can't tell if I'm a total fan yet.  I'm just still shocked that he has a band.  He should've went solo like Nick.  Favorite lyric: Waste time with a masterpiece, don't waste time with a masterpiece (Huh!) You should be rolling with me, you should be rolling with me (Aaahhhh) You're a real life fantasy, you're a real life fantasy (Huh!) But you're moving so carefully; let's start living dangerously

6. Stitches by Shawn Mendes
I've actually loved this song for awhile now.  It finally made my playlist!  First I forgot who sang it and then it kept getting bumped off by other songs.  This month I've been playing it a TON.  My friend and I just can't get enough for some reason.  It's even made it onto my morning playlist.  This is another song that is stuck in my head.  I'm always singing it!  Favorite lyric: You watch me bleed until I can't breathe Shaking, falling onto my knees And now that I'm without your kisses I'll be needing stitches Tripping over myself Aching, begging you to come help And now that I'm without your kisses I'll be needing stitches

7. Fifteen by Taylor Swift
Earlier this month I went to the Taylor Swift concert.  If you want to know all about it go here.  She sang this song and it just brought back so many memories.  I get chills every time I hear it.  It's just such a great song!  I've been playing her old albums over and over since the concert.  She is amazing and my idol.  I will be a fan forever!  Favorite lyric: 'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you You're gonna believe them And when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall I've found that time can heal most anything And you just might find who you're supposed to be I didn't know who I was supposed to be at fifteen

8. One Call Away by Charlie Puth
I may or may not have a Charlie Puth obsession.  I just love his voice SO MUCH!  I've loved every song that I've heard.  I can't even choose a favorite!  I even preordered his album because I'm so obsessed.  I discovered this song when I was trying to fall asleep.  It's such a cute song!  I just love him!  Favorite lyric: No matter where you go You know you're not alone I'm only one call away I'll be there to save the day Superman got nothing on me I'm only one call away

9. Friend Zone by Danielle Bradbery
I'm SO glad that she has new music out!  I've been a fan since she was on The Voice.  It should've been released in the summer because it also has that vibe.  It's just really fun and upbeat.  I'm glad that she hasn't changed since becoming famous.  I do wish she would make songs like the older country music.  It would suit her voice perfectly.  Favorite lyric: You think you're doing just fine Ooh, she got you on the sideline You think you're flying towards the endzone You're just headed towards the friend zone Let me break it down to the facts You will never get a girl like that You gotta step up to the plate with a bat That's all I gotta say about that

10. Perfect by One Direction
Are you guys even surprised?  Obviously this song was going to make the playlist!  I've literally had it on repeat since it came out.  The video was a total surprise and I'm OBSESSED!  It might be my favorite video that they've done.  I love the black and white.  Plus they just look adorable.  I just love them!  I'm SUPER pumped for the album in 13 days!!!!!!!!  Be looking for an album review.  Favorite lyric: But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms And if you like having secret little rendezvous If you like to do the things you know that we shouldn’t do Baby, I'm perfect Baby, I'm perfect for you And if you like midnight driving with the windows down And if you like going places we can’t even pronounce If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about Baby, you're perfect
Baby, you're perfect So let's start right now

Weekly Obsession!

We all know that fall means pumpkin.  A couple weeks ago I posted a Easy Pumpkin Muffin recipe that I make often.  Sometimes you just don't want to bake though.  My weekly obsession is....Little Bites Pumpkin Muffins.  These are SO good!  They are the perfect flavor and really moist.  I actually buy these in a couple of different flavors.  I'm sad that the pumpkin ones are limited edition.  I eat these as a snack or for breakfast if I'm not that hungry.  Unfortunately there are only 4 in a package.  I wish there were 6 because they are just so good.  What is your favorite flavor of muffin?

DWTS Season 21: It's Halloween Time!

It's week 7!  If you missed my recap from last week click here.  Tonight's theme is Halloween!  I'm very excited about it.  Also team dances are back!  This is always one of my favorite parts.  Derek has never lost a team dance so we'll see if his streak continues.  The show started with a big Monster Mash group number.  It was SO good!  Tonight somebody will be going home.  Make sure you vote for your favorites so they don't go home.

NICK CARTER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He hasn't gotten a perfect score yet.  He wants to work hard and earn it,  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  I LOVED this dance!  I thought he looked great.  I did wish it was a little bit sharper.  He stayed in character the whole time.  The lifts were fantastic and amazing!  I just love every single thing he does.  You guys know he is my favorite.  His score is 24 of 30.

HAYES GRIER AND EMMA SLATER:
He really needs to listen to the judges.  He needs to focus and work hard.  This week he danced the Waltz.  I thought he did A LOT better than last week.  I was blown away by this dance.  It was very classic and beautiful.  He needs to stay on this path because it's working for him.  I think this might be his best dance yet.  His score is 26 of 30.

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND MARK BALLAS:
She almost went home last week so she is pushing herself harder.  This week she danced the Paso Doble.  I thought she did a fantastic job.  She really stepped it up this week.  They kept it classic which I really enjoyed.  It was a perfect balance of passion.  Now that she trusts her partner it really shows.  She will only get better and better.  Her score is 27 of 30.

TAMAR BRAXTON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Last week was her comeback and now she is confident.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  I thought she did a great job.  It wasn't my favorite dance by her.  She seemed a little bit off.  There were mistakes and the connection wasn't there.  She definitely has the potential and confidence to go the end.  They should really focus on their connection though.  Her score is 24 of 30.

ANDY GRAMMER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
After last week he is seen as a real competitor.  This week he danced the Paso Doble.  I thought it was great.  It had passion and aggression which is what this dance is all about.  I liked the creep vampire story as well.  It wasn't perfect but I think he is still a competitor.  I don't think he'll win but he'll go far.  His score is 26 of 30.

BINDI IRWIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She worked hard to be scary this week.  She's just always so happy!  This week she danced the Argentine Tango.  OMG she killed it!  It was full of passion and very intense!  It was also super sexy but not too much.  I wanted more!  I just couldn't look away!  She really got into character and I loved it.  I love her!  Her score is 30 of 30.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
He was very upset about his scores last week.  He needs a reality check.  This week he danced the Viennese Waltz.  It was pretty good.  I still don't really love him.  He seems to be just going through the motions.  I want him to be fierce and intense.  He never stands out for me.  I'm not sure how mush longer he will last.  I'm not a fan.  His score is 25 of 30.

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND WITNEY CARSON:
He felt like he didn't deserve his scores last week.  This week he danced the Paso Doble.  I thought he did a great job.  I LOVED the cape work he was doing.  He did make a few mistakes but he keeps getting better.  He needs to focus on himself and not what his wife is doing.  He has a lot more potential than he is showing.  His score is 28 of 30.

Team Dances:
First up is Team Nightmare.  On their team is Nick, Tamar, Hayes, and Andy.  They are dancing freestyle.  I really wanted to love it but it was just OK.  I loved the concept and the choreography.  The judges thought it was amazing but I wanted more.  They looked great though.  Their score is 30 of 30.  This will be added to their scores from earlier.

Now it's Team Who You Gonna Call? turn.  On their team is Bindi, Carlos, Alexa, and Alek.  They are dancing freestyle.  This what I wanted!  It hard tricks and it was just fun!  I could watch this all day!  I loved this SO much better!  Their score is 28 of 30.  This will be added to their scores from earlier.

Results:
Bindi, Nick, Alek, Andy, Carlos, Alexa, and Tamar are safe.  Hayes has been eliminated.

Weekly Obsession!

You guys know that I love music.  I especially love music from my childhood.  That's why this post is perfect.  My weekly obsession is....Hit Songs through The Years 2000-2013!  I have watched this video at least 50 times.  It's just SO good!  It brings back so many memories.  I was ages 11 through 24 so that's a long time.  I may or my not have downloaded about 90% of the songs in this video.  It doesn't include every hit song but I can't get enough.  I totally forgot about The Ketchup song!  Which song did you forget about?  Let me know!

Quiz Tuesday: Which “Halloweentown” Character Are You?

Happy Tuesday!  I'm starting to get SUPER excited for Halloween.  It's always been one of my favorite holidays.  I'm not a fan of scary stuff though.  Today's quiz is perfect for me.  It's called Which “Halloweentown” Character Are You?  If you have never seen this movie then you are missing out.  Every Halloween I watch it so I'm excited to see who I get.  You can take this quiz with me here.  Share your results!

I got Sophie!  The description says: Like Sophie, you are clever and curious. You’re naturally good at everything you do, but you have yet to unlock your full potential.

I think this is fairly accurate.  I'm a very curious person but I'm not naturally good at everything.  She is my second favorite character so I'm happy with it.  I'm just glad I didn't get the brother!

DWTS Season 21: Famous Dances Night

It's week 6!  If you missed the last recap you can check it out here.  This weeks theme is famous dances.  The couples will be doing an iconic dance from a movie or music video.  I'm pretty excited for this.  There is also a guest judge this week.  It's Olivia Newton-John!  Tonight Erin Andrews is covering the World Series so Leah Remini is standing in.  The show kicked off with a big opening number.  I LOVED IT!  Tonight somebody will be going home tonight.  Make sure to vote for your favorites so they don't go home!

HAYES GRIER AND EMMA SLATER:
He got the movie Grease.  His song is You're The One The That I Want.  This week he danced Jazz.  I thought it was good.  I really wanted to love it but it's so hard to judge this movie.  It's one of my all time favorites so he wasn't on that level.  He did try hard but for me I wanted more.  The choreography was amazing though.  His score is 32 of 40.

ANDY GRAMMER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
He got the movie Singin' In The Rain.  His song is Good Morning.  This week he danced Jazz.  I LOVED this dance!  I've never actually seem the entire movie but I feel like I have now.  It really captured every memorable moment from the film.  The choreography was classic but modern.  I could watch that over and over!  This was his breakout moment.  I've been waiting for it.  His score is 40 of 40.

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND MARK BALLAS:
She got a Britney Spears music video.  Her song is I'm A Slave 4 U.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I'm a HUGE Britney fan and this was a big moment in her career.  I wanted more of the Britney essence.  It was still a great performance.  I just really wanted her to own it.  The snake part was on point though.  Her score is 30 of 40.

BINDI IRWIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
She got the movie Dirty Dancing.  Her song is Time Of Your Life.  This week she danced the Rumba.  OMG I WANT MORE!!!!!!!  It wasn't an actual Rumba but nobody cares!  I loved every single second!  This is my favorite movie EVER and it captured every part!  I felt like I was watching the actual film.  It even had the emotion and passion.  I'm speechless.  Her score is 40 of 40.

PAULA DEEN AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL:
She got a Madonna music video.  Her song is Vogue.  This week she danced Jazz.  I was VERY impressed.  She's no Madonna but she still did great.  It was just fun.  I did enjoy last week more but she always entertains me.  I'm not sure she will last much longer but I enjoy her.  Her score is 24 of 40.

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND WITNEY CARSON:
He got the movie Magic Mike.  His song is Pony.  This week he danced the Rumba.  First I wanna say is Magic Mike iconic?  This dance was HOT!  He looked GOOD!  I really loved it!  I liked that it was sexy but not raunchy.  I thought he did it justice.  He still isn't my favorite but he stayed true to himself.  I like his commitment.  His score is 38 of 40.

NICK CARTER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
He got the movie Saturday Night Fever.  His song is You Should Be Dancing.  This week he danced the Samba.  This was everything I wanted!  It was just amazing!  I was transported back to disco and I wanted more!  I loved that she put actual Samba in the dance as well.  I just love everything he does.  He's perfect!  His score is 39 of 40.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
He got the movie Jailhouse Rock.  His song is Jailhouse Rock.  This week he danced the Jive.  I thought it was good.  I loved the Jive content but he messed up a few times.  I didn't get an Elvis vibe.  He just isn't where he should be at this point in the competition.  He did improve his facial expressions but he needs more than that.  He just needs to step it up.  His score is 30 of 40.

TAMAR BRAXTON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She got a Janet Jackson music video.  Her song is Rhythm Nation.  This week she danced Jazz.  She KILLED it!  I couldn't even believe how perfect she was!  It was fast and extremely detailed.  She missed a few days due to illness but you couldn't tell.  She looked like a professional!  She is fantastic!  Her score is 40 of 40.

Results:
Carlos, Tamar, Nick, Alek, Bindi, Andy, Hayes, and Alexa are safe.  Paula has been eliminated.

What I Eat In A Day

Today I wanted to try a different type of post,  I enjoy reading what people eat throughout the day.  It gives you different ideas to try and incorporate into your meals.  It also helps you keep a food journal which I really enjoyed.  If you guys like this type of post then let me know.  Maybe I'll make this a regular post.  What do you guys eat?  Let me know!

8 AM: For breakfast I felt very hungry.  I had a frozen waffle and a hard boiled egg.  I also had a glass of apple juice.

10 AM: For a snack I decided to eat a banana.

12:30 PM: I made a PB&J sandwich for lunch.  I used organic oat bread with peanut butter and organic grape jelly.  I also had some chips and carrots with ranch.  I drank a glass of water.  For dessert I had a cupcake.

3 PM: For my afternoon snack I had two Oreo cookies

6 PM: My grandma invited me over for dinner.  I had roast beef, mashed potato, and peas with carrots.  I drank a glass of Mountain Dew.  For dessert I had a root beer float.

9 PM: I always have cereal before bed.  So I had some Captain Crunch Berries.  Also I had a glass of water.

Fall TV: What I'm Watching

I am a TV addict!  I watch at least 3 shows a night which is probably not healthy at all.  One reason that I love this time of year is all the new shows.  I rarely saw any previews for this year but I still found some really good ones.  I thought I would share what I've been watching this fall.  Some are new but some are shows I've been watching for awhile.  What shows are you watching?  Let me know!

Returning Shows:
I'm obviously watching The Voice.  I've been watching since Season 1 and it just never gets old.  It's too early to choose a favorite but I'm liking Team Adam best.  Team Pharrell is pretty good too.

If you are new to my blog then you may not know that I recap Dancing With The Stars.  I'm obsessed with this show and have been since Season 2.  My favorites are Nick Carter (obviously) and Bindi Irwin.

I love this show!  Scorpion started last year and I was instantly hooked.  It's about a group of geniuses that work for the government to solve massive problems.  I really like the character dynamic.

I'm so glad that CSI: Cyber is back!  They did a half season last year and it just started back.  It's basically just like CSI but they are cyber crimes.  It's very interesting if you like computers and technology.  I never realized all the crimes hackers can do.

At first I wasn't sure I would keep watching Nashville.  This season just started and I'm hooked already!  It's all about the country music scene in Nashville.  Lots of drama occurs which I love!  The music is really good too.

Last season was hard for Grey's Anatomy fans.  I thought I would hate this season but so far I really like it.  I've been watching since high school so it's hard to quit.  If you like medical dramas you will be a fan,  Catch up on Netflix first or you'll be very confused.

I'm in love with How To Get Away With Murder!  I talked about this show in my Fall Favorites Tag so go check that out.

I have a love/hate relationship with Scandal.  I was obsessed in the beginning but now I feel like it isn't as exciting.  I'm giving it one more season to convince me.  So far I'm still bored but we'll see.

I started watching NCIS: New Orleans last year with my mom and grandma.  It's the same as NCIS but set in New Orleans instead.  I really like the characters and the stories.  This season is a lot better and intense.

I love The Mysteries of Laura!  This is one of my favorites because it has a good story and it's also really funny.  Laura is a cop and mom of twin boys.  The way she solves crimes is so different and that makes the show stand out.

Blue Bloods is by far my favorite cop show.  The entire family is either a lawyer or cop.  It's more than your typical cop show.  It also deals with family issues.  I can get intense but I love the characters.  Also, I love Donnie Wahlberg.

New Shows:
I think Grandfathered is such a cute show!  It's about a guy who finds out he is a father AND a grandfather all in one day.  John Stamos does a great job!  The stories are just adorable as well.

I was very intrigued by Limitless.  It's based off of the Bradley Cooper film so check that out first.  Basically when they give Brian a pill his brain works at 100%.  Now he uses that to solve crimes with the FBI.  I really like how it's going so far.

Blood & Oil is the new Revenge.  This show is about the oil business and how dirty it really is.  I love all of the backstabbing that goes on.  Lots of crazy stuff has happened already and I can't get enough!  I wonder who will win?

I saved the best for last!  Quantico is my OBSESSION!  Somebody in the the FBI is framing an FBI recruit as a terrorist.  Now you are trying to figure out who is the actual terrorist.  Every episode just keeps you guessing and I just want more!

Weekly Obsession!

You guys may not know that I have a serious love for red velvet.  If anything is red velvet then I must try it.  I can't help myself!  My weekly obsession is....a red velvet oreo milkshake!  When my mom texted me about a red velvet milkshake I was all about it!  It's from Burger King but it's worth it.  It is the best thing I've ever tasted!!!!!  Let's not talk about how many I've ordered.  It actually does taste like red velvet and the Oreo's make it SO much better.  It doesn't taste fake at all which made me very happy.  If you are a red velvet lover you must go try this!  You'll become addicted instantly!  What are you loving this week?

Quiz Tuesday: Which Subtle Tattoo Should You Get Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

Happy Tuesday!  I always get so excited for these posts.  They are a lot of fun and I love seeing your answers too!  Today's quiz is something I've been thinking about a lot lately.  It's called Which Subtle Tattoo Should You Get Based On Your Zodiac Sign?  I am OBSESSED with tattoo's but needles freak me out.  I've decided in 2016 I will get a tattoo!  I'm interested in the results because I have one in mind already.  You can take the quiz by clicking here.  Share your results in the comments!

My zodiac sign is Cancer.  I got a black cat on my ankle.  The description says: You are friendly and approachable. Much like the black cat, you have multiple lives. You are resilient.

The description fits me perfectly but I'm not a cat person.  I do like the ankle idea though.  I'll keep you guys posted!

DWTS Season 21: Let's Switch It Up!

It's week 5 already!!!!  If you missed last week's episode then check out the recap here.  Tonight's theme is another favorite.  It's switch up week!  The celebrities will be dancing with different professionals than normal.  It's always a touchy week but it gets exciting.  I'm very interested in the pairings this year.  There is a guest judge this week.  It's Maks!!!!!!  I'm excited about this!  The show started with a big group number.  I loved it!!!  Tonight nobody will be going home.  Make sure you keep voting for your favorites so they don't get sent home early!

TAMAR BRAXTON AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL:
She is worried about the choreography.  This week she danced the Samba.  I thought she did great!  The connection was not as good but that is expected.  I wanted more Samba steps.  It was just slightly mess up.  She did best on her own so she needs to work on partner work.  She has had way better dances but I enjoyed it.  Her score is 29 of 40.

HAYES GRIER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
She wants to show a more mature side of him.  This week he danced the Viennese Waltz.  I thought it was really cute.  I wouldn't say it was mature but I thought he looked adorable.  I wished it was more traditional.  It was a little too jumpy.  He still needs to have a big break out moment.  I did think this pairing was a good one.  His score is 30 of 40.

PAULA DEEN AND MARK BALLAS:
He is going to show her wild side.  This week she danced the Jive.  I did not expect this couple to work but I loved it!  It was honestly her best dance.  She remembered her steps and just had fun.  I did think she played it a little safe.  I wanted more energy.  I really loved this performance though.  Her score is 26 of 30.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND EMMA SLATER:
He decided that he needs to step it up.  This week he danced the Rumba.  I really liked it!  It was romantic.  The chemistry was amazing!  They were so cute together!  He really needs to work on his facial expressions.  I liked that it wasn't too sexual.  It had a nice innocence to it.  He really needs to relax and show more emotion.  He could go far.  His score is 29 of 40.

BINDI IRWIN AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
She wants to stay on her new level.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I just LOVE her!  She always makes me feel so happy!  I never want it to end!  I could watch her all day long!  This was a great partnership.  The only thing she needs to work on is her shoulders.  I love her confidence and it is so infectious.  Her score is 37 of 40.

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
He almost went home last week.  This week he danced the Quickstep.  I thought this was a really fun dance.  I didn't love it because it wasn't a true quickstep.  It had so many other dance elements and I wanted it more traditional.  I felt it would fit better as a freestyle.  The judges loved it though.  I was very entertaining though.  His score is 39 of 40.

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND DEREK HOUGH:
She made a mistake last week.  This week she danced the Tango.  I loved this dance!  It was just so raw and I loved it.  She really needs to let go and just be her true self.  She needs to totally stay on this path.  This was her moment and she killed IT!  I love this partnership A LOT!  Her score is 40 of 40.  This is the first perfect score of the season.

ANDY GRAMMER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
She wants to show a sexier side to him.  This week he danced the Argentine Tango.  I thought he did a great job!  His performance was on another level.  It was more focused and slightly sexy.  It wasn't perfect but it was an improvement.  I'm still not a huge fan of his.  He just doesn't stand out to me.  I don't think he'll last much longer.  His score is 36 of 40.

NICK CARTER AND WITNEY CARSON:
He is trying to take control.  This week he danced the Paso Doble.  OMG I just love him!  He just gets better and better.  I thought this was an amazing dance.  He needed to work on the hips but he commits every week.  It had passion and a ton of energy.  I love him SO much!  His score is 35 of 40.

My 1989 Tour Experience!

I am a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift!  I've been a loyal fan since the very beginning.  So when I saw that she was coming to Omaha I obviously had to get tickets.  I've never missed a tour of hers EVER!  I wish I was going back tonight!  I was VERY excited for this tour because 1989 is my favorite album yet.  Also, I was born in 1989 too, so Taylor and I are basically besties right?

Her show opener was Vance Joy.  I'm not gonna lie I found it very boring.  He sang maybe 5 songs and each one was about 10 minutes long.  It did not get me pumped up for Taylor.  I actually wanted a nap instead.  So I left to wait in line for a t-shirt instead.

It was finally time for the show!!!!!  Attached to each chair was a synchronized light up bracelet.  It was programmed to light up with her music.  I loved the idea but I'm sad it doesn't work now.  If you've never been to a Taylor Swift show before then you are missing out!  It is unlike anything you'll ever experience.  You just get lost in another world.  This was no different!

It started off in a New York theme based on her song Welcome To New York.  The dancers were phenomenal!  My favorite number was How You Get The Girl because the umbrella routine was SO cool.  I did like her version of Love Story and I Knew You Were Trouble.  I didn't really love We Are Never Getting Back Together.  It was too rock for me.  I did like that she sang Fifteen because That is one of my favorites.  There was no celebrity guest though.  I had a blast at the show and I wish I was back already!  Have you been to the 1989 tour?  Let me know your favorite parts!

♥The Fall Favorites Tag♥

Fall is finally here!!!!  This is always one of my favorite times of year.  I love the chilly sunny days and the trees changing.  It also means football time!  I'm a big fan in case you didn't know.  Today I'm doing the Fall Favorites Tag.  I saw it on YouTube and loved it.  I did adjust some of the questions to fit me better.  I wanted to have this post up earlier but I got a really bad virus for about two weeks.  That was NOT fun but I'm back now!  I wanna know all of your answers too!  Be sure to send me a link so I can check them out!  Also, send me some suggestions if you want more fall themed posts.  Enjoy!

Favorite Candle:
I don't really light candles but I love a good fall scent.  For my birthday I got an Air Wick room spray.  I'm OBSESSED with it!  My scent recently ran out so I went on the hunt for a fall smell.  I found this one called Mom's Baking and it's perfect!  It smells like cinnamon, apples, and vanilla.  Every 30  minutes or so it will spray and I just can't get enough!

Favorite Candy:
There is only certain types of candy that you can buy around this time of year.  I wait all year for...candy corn!!!!  I LOVE it!  Nobody else I know will eat it.  The original is obviously the best but I do like trying the flavored ones as well.  I highly recommend the S'mores flavor.

Favorite Drink:
HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!  There is no question about this question.  It's pretty much all I drink from October through February.  It just makes me feel so cozy and warm.  I just got into Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.  I can't believe I've been missing out!

Favorite Book:
I adore a good romance book around this time of year.  I just like curling up in a snuggly blanket and getting lost in a love story.  This will be my go to this year.  I pre-ordered it so I can start reading it next week when it comes out.  To be honest any Nicholas Sparks is a winner in my opinion.

Favorite Clothing Item:
This is my latest purchase and I am in LOVE!  I have been wanting a pair of ankle booties for a few years.  I just couldn't find a pair that I really loved.  I found these on sale at Kohls and I knew they were the ones.  I bought them in tan because I felt like they will go with everything.  I just like how I can wear them with pretty much anything in my wardrobe.

Favorite Fall Movie:
This is my all time favorite Halloween film.  I've been watching this since I was little and I still love it.  I don't like scary movies so I'm glad Disney understands me.  It's actually such an underrated film.  Another movie that I also seem to watch around this time of year is RENT.  If you aren't a fan of musicals then you probably won't like it.  It's my all time favorite musical!

Favorite Fall TV Show:
I LOVE FALL TV!!!  I look forward to it all summer long!  I've been watching a lot of new shows so I'll do a whole post on that.  The one show I was most excited for was How To Get Away With Murder.  This show is MY LIFE!  Each episode just gets better and better!  Go watch if you haven't yet!
Favorite Thanksgiving Food:
I actually don't like traditional Thanksgiving food.  That's probably really weird but I just don't.  One thing that we eat every year is green bean casserole.  It's just SO good!  It's really easy to make as well.  My mom does it best!

Favorite Halloween Costume:
As a kid my mom never bought us costumes.  She never saw the point in spending $25 to wear an outfit that you only wear a few hours.  So she just made them!  My favorite was a cat.  I just wore black stretch pants, a black turtleneck, and black ballet shoes.  It was my favorite and I honestly wanted to wear it every day.  Sadly I couldn't find a picture but I was obsessed.

Book Review: Saint Anything

It's time for another book review!  I just finished reading Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen.  I've been reading her books since I was a sophomore in high school.  She write the best young adult books that deal with actual issues.  She talks about issues like drugs, abuse, and anxiety.  She makes it relatable to any age which I think is a good quality for an author.  Go check out her other books for sure!

Here is the description from Goodreads.  Peyton, Sydney's charismatic older brother, has always been the star of the family, receiving the lion's share of their parents' attention and—lately—concern. When Peyton's increasingly reckless behavior culminates in an accident, a drunk driving conviction, and a jail sentence, Sydney is cast adrift, searching for her place in the family and the world. When everyone else is so worried about Peyton, is she the only one concerned about the victim of the accident? Enter the Chathams, a warm, chaotic family who run a pizza parlor, play bluegrass on weekends, and pitch in to care for their mother, who has multiple sclerosis. Here Sydney experiences unquestioning acceptance. And here she meets Mac, gentle, watchful, and protective, who makes Sydney feel seen, really seen, for the first time.

I really enjoyed this book.  I honestly couldn't put it down.  I felt like the theme is something we have all been through.  We all feel invisible at some point and it's hard to express.  The author really did capture that feeling.  I also really liked the characters.  I wish I had a boyfriend like Mac!  It's a very easy read even though the subject was quite intense.  I recommend this book!  Let me know your thoughts.

Weekly Obsession!

You guys I think I have a serious problem.  I can't put down the Oreo's!!!!!!  I just keep eating them!  My weekly obsession is....Peanut Butter Oreo's!  I didn't even know these existed.  My friend had some and told me I must try them.  Now I can't get enough!  I bought 2 packages last week and now they are almost gone.  I'm not ashamed though because I do have some control.  I only allow myself 2 cookies a day.  That's pretty good right?  Let me know what other flavors I should try next!  What's your favorite Oreo flavor?

Quiz Tuesday: Which City Should You Visit Based On Your Taste In Chocolate?

Happy Tuesday!!!  I am back on schedule!  I'm finally feeling better and I'm SO glad.  That virus was the worst I've had in awhile.  Thank god that's over!!  Today's quiz is really exciting.  It deals with one of my favorite topics!  It's all about CHOCOLATE!!!  Today's quiz is called Which City Should You Visit Based On Your Taste In Chocolate?  I'm actually really curious to see what I get.  If you want to take this quiz click here.  Be sure to share your results!

I got Moscow, Russia!  The description says: You are open to trying new and different types of chocolate — from milk to dark chocolate, you are into it all! Moscow has lots of options to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I've never even thought of visiting there!  I do agree with the description though.  I love trying new chocolates and sweets in general.  Maybe someday I'll end up in Russia!

DWTS Season 21: The Most Memorable Year

It's week 4!!!!  If you missed last weeks recap check it out here.  Tonight's theme is always my favorite.  It's time for the most memorable year episode!!  This is when the celebrities do a dance representing their most memorable year.  I already know I'm going to be an emotional wreck!  I always am every season.  Tom Bergeron will not be hosting tonight because his father is ill.  Stepping in for him is Alfonso Ribeiro.  Somebody will be going home tonight.  Make sure you vote for your favorite so they stay safe!

ALEXA PENAVEGA AND MARK BALLAS:
Her most memorable year is 2000.  She booked her biggest role in Spy Kids.  This week she danced the Foxtrot.  I thought this dance was super adorable.  I loved the entire concept.  It felt very young and fresh which I love.  It was just fun!  There were a few mistakes but it was her first proper ballroom dance.  She just needs to stay on this path.  Her score is 21 of 30.

GARY BUSEY AND ANNA TREBUNSKAYA:
His most memorable year is 1979.  He booked his biggest role as Buddy Holly.  This week he danced Jazz.  Well I preferred last week.  He definitely had passion because it was a huge part of his life.  He just isn't improving like the other celebrities.  He does entertain you though.  I just don't think this show is for him.  His score is 16 of 30.

TAMAR BRAXTON AND VALENTIN CHMERKOVSKIY:
Her most memorable year is 2012.  Her husband was put into a coma and then she got pregnant.  This week she danced the Rumba.  It was breathtaking.  The story was so real and it affected me.  I totally cried because it was just so touching.  The connection was perfect.  I also loved that they danced a very classic Rumba.  I could watch that all day!  Her score is 27 of 30.

HAYES GRIER AND EMMA SLATER:
His most memorable year is 2014.  He blew up into a social media star overnight.  This week he danced Contemporary.  I thought the dance was great.  It was really clean and sharp.  I feel like I didn't totally get his story.  He did break out of his shell but he just isn't my favorite.  I thought he looked strained during the lift.  I like him but I don't love him.  His score is 27 of 30.

ALEK SKARLATOS AND LINDSAY ARNOLD:
His most memorable year is 2015.  He stopped terrorists on a train in Paris.  Then the weekend there was a shooting at his community college in Oregon.  This week he danced the Paso Doble.  I thought he did an amazing job.  You could totally feel the passion.  I did want more emotion because it would have made it so much better.  He does surprise me every time he dances though.  His score is 24 of 30.

NICK CARTER AND SHARNA BURGESS:
His most memorable year is 1992.  He met and joined the group Backstreet Boys.  It saved him from his childhood.  This week he danced Jazz.  This dance was EVERYTHING!!  This was pretty much my entire childhood!  I WANT MORE!!!!!  Can I please be Sharna?  She's living my dreams right now!  I have nothing else to say!  He is the BEST!!  His score is 27 of 30.  P.S. That deserved a 30!

CARLOS PENAVEGA AND WITNEY CARSON:
His most memorable year is 2012.  His band Big Time Rush was at his peak so when it was all over he hit rock bottom.  His met his wife the next week at church and it changed his life.  This week he danced the Waltz.  It was beautiful.  I really wish he was more at the leader board.  He needs a big break out moment.  It was lovely and I enjoyed it.  It was mesmerizing.  His score was 25 of 30.

PAULA DEEN AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL:
Her most memorable year is 1989.  She left her husband and started her cooking business.  This week she danced the Cha Cha.  I thought this was one of her best dances.  I did want her to have a lot more fun.  She needs to just focus and remember her dance.  Also her legs look AMAZING!  She needs to just be confident.  Her score is 18 of 30.

ANDY GRAMMER AND ALLISON HOLKER:
His most memorable year is 2009.  He was just a street performer and then his mother passed away from breast cancer.  This week he danced the Cha Cha.  I loved this dance!  It was really fun and he made the best of his situation.  He had a couple of mistakes but the message was great.  You can decide to make any situation positive.  I love that!  He just needs to have a big break out moment.  His score is 23 of 30.

BINDI IRWIN AND DEREK HOUGH:
Her most memorable year is 2006.  Her father passed away unexpectedly and she was only 8.  He was her hero.  This week she danced Contemporary.  I totally lost it the second it started.  It just immediately touched me.  This dance left me breathless.  It was just beautiful and I could watch that all night long.  She's amazing.  I have no words.  Her score is 28 of 30.

Results:
Nick, Bindi, Andy, Paula, Alexa, Alek, Hayes, Tamar, and Carlos are safe.  Gary has been eliminated.
