DWTS All Star: Elimination Time

Sorry this is up so late!  I was feeling sick but here it is.

The show started out with the dance that the judges wanted to see again.  They chose Apolo's dance.  I really loved this dance so I'm glad it was picked.  Nobody will be going home next week due to the presidential election.  Emmett and Kelly are safe.  Jason Mraz performed his hit song I Won't Give Up.  I'm not sure why he performed on country week but I still love him.  Shawn, Gilles, and Kirstie are safe.  The Macy's Stars of Dance was next.  It was a French era theme and it was amazing! Fusion dances were chosen next.  This means 2 dance styles combined into one.  Emmett got Rumba/Samba.  Kelly got Cha Cha/Foxtrot.  Gilles got Argentine Tango/Samba.  Shawn got Tango/Paso Doble.  Melissa got Tango/Cha Cha.  Apolo got Cha Cha/Paso Doble.  Kirstie got Quickstep/Samba.  Sabrina got Tango/Foxtrot.  Taylor Swift performed We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.  Of course I loved it!  Melissa is safe leaving Apolo and Sabrina in danger.  Sabrina is eliminated.

DWTS All Star: Country Night

Last week nobody went home last week.  This weeks theme is country and Taylor Swift is performing tomorrow night!!!!!!  If you've followed my blog the last week then you'll know how much I love Taylor Swift.  The show started with Little Big Town performing their song Pontoon while the troupe danced.  Also there is a group dance and every celebrity must do a solo.  Next week the stars are dancing fusion dances.  This is 2 dance styles fused together.  They will be chosen on tomorrow's result show.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd:
This week was hard for him to find time to practice due to his work schedule.  He danced the Cha Cha this week.  I didn't love it.  The song and outfit just didn't fit him.  I did enjoy his solo though.  His score was 27.5 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores his total is 84.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel:
Her inspiration for this week was a bad relationship she was in.  She danced the Rumba this week.  I really liked it.  I'm so glad she is back this season.  It had tons of emotion.  Her score was 30 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores her total is 88.5.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She was disappointed in her scores last week so she added more hours to practice.  She danced the Tango this week.  It was good.  I've never really liked her though.  My mom and I have said for weeks that she was hooking up with her partner.  The kiss at the end of this danced proved it.  Her score was 27 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores her total is 78.5.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
Last week she injured her neck but refuses to quit.  She danced the Viennese Waltz.  I loved it!  I really enjoyed her solo.  I'm hoping she wins.  Her score was 29.5 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores her total is 86.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
She re-injured her knee this week.  She danced the Cha Cha this week.  I just love watching her dance.  The solo seemed awkward but I still loved the dance.  Her score was 28 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores her total is 84.5.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
She was very stressed out this week.  She danced the Rumba this week.  She rocked it!  For being 60 she can still move.  Her score was 27.5 out 30.  Added to last weeks scores and the group dance her total is 82.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
This week was all about emotion.  It was dedicated to anybody who has or has had cancer.  He danced the Viennese Waltz this week.  It was beautiful.  He nailed it.  His score was 30 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores his total is 86.5.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
He was concerned about country week because he doesn't listen to country at all.  He danced the Foxtrot this week.  It was cute.  The solo stole the dance though.  His score was 26.5 out of 30.  Added to last weeks scores his total is 82.5.

Group Dance:
I'm so glad they brought the group dance back.  It was so fun.  Kirstie got an extra 2 points from this dance.

Red by Taylor Swift

Hi everybody!  Yesterday Taylor Swift's brand new album Red came out.  I'm HUGE fan and have been since she started out.  I thought I'd do an album review for you guys.  I'm already obsessed with it!  Younger fans might not like it because they won't understand the meanings.  I think it's her best yet personally.  If you have the album already, tell me what your favorite song is or just your favorite Taylor Swift song in general.  Also if you want me to do any other reviews let me know.  Subscribe if you enjoy my blog.

  1. State of Grace-This songs sets the tone for the whole album.  It's a very different sound but it fits her.
  2. Red-I honestly love this song.  It describes exactly how love feels.
  3. Treacherous-This song is about relationships being hard but liking the challenge.  Nothing in life is easy especially love.
  4. I Knew You Were Trouble-Everybody can relate to this song.  There's always that one guy you know is bad for you but you go for him anyway.  Girls love bad boys!
  5. All Too Well-This song is about both people remembering the relationship they had together.  Both thinking of all the memories.  It really is how relationships go.  I just love how real and honest she is in her songs.
  6. 22-I probably relate to this song the most.  I just turned 23 in July and at this age everybody thinks you should know what you want to do with your life.  The truth is we don't.  This is about just enjoying 22 and not worrying about who you're supposed to be.
  7. I Almost Do-This song is about that one ex you know you should move on from but can't stop thinking about them.  You want to just call them so bad but you don't.  It's a great song.
  8. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together-Obviously this is this years break up anthem.  I love how it's fun and upbeat sounding though.  Taylor always has the best break up songs and this one is no different.
  9. Stay Stay Stay-This is my favorite song.  It is such a cute song!  It's about that boy who makes you so crazy but you love him.  You just want him to stay with you forever.
  10. The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody)-I love Snow Patrol so this song is so good.  I like that she is doing more duets.
  11. Holy Ground-I really love this song.  I love the beat of it a lot.
  12. Sad Beautiful Tragic-This song is a little to slow for my liking.  It is a great song though.
  13. The Lucky One-This song is about dreaming of fame but then once you have it you realize it isn't so glamorous.  I really like this song.  I love how she doesn't pretend that fame isn't exactly how she imagined.
  14. Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran)-If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know I'm obsessed with Ed Sheeran right now.  I love this song!  Only thing I'd change is more Ed Sheeran solos.  This song is about that one person that just changes your life.  You instantly think of that person while listening to it.
  15. Starlight-This is one of my favorite songs.  It's all about dreaming and being with the boy who encourages that.  It's just a cute and fun song.
  16. Begin Again-There is always one song on her albums that I instantly love.  This is that song.  I can't stop listening to it.  This song is about believing in love again.  Just because a guy was a jerk doesn't mean all guys will be.

DWTS All Stars: Fun Dance Styles

Last week the All Stars chose dances for each other.  Some have never been done on the show before.  There is a guest judge this week and it's Paula Abdul.  Since there are 4 judges this week the scores will be out of 40 instead of 30.  Most of the professionals didn't know these dances so help was called in.  Lifts were also allowed.  Tomorrow night one couple goes home.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
She was really worried about her dance at first but decided to just have fun.  She danced the Charleston this week.  I really liked it.  It was very flapper era which is my favorite.  She looked amazing too.  She got 30 out of 40.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas:
She was just happy to make it past last week.  She danced Rock and Roll this week.  It was her best so far. I wish she had added more to her choreography though.  Her score was 32 out of 40.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel:
Being in the bottom last week motivated her to push herself.  She had Disco this week.  I loved it!  It was studio 54 themed and lots of disco balls.  I loved all the moves.  Her score was 35.5 out of 40.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
He stepped up his game last week and proved himself.  He had Bolero this week.  Cheryl had to bring in some help.  It was really good.  It was one of my favorites.  His score was 36 out of 40.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd:
Last week he had a few mess ups and was determined to be perfect this week.  He danced Bollywood this week.  Peta had no idea what to do.  It was fantastic though.  He did amazing.  His score was 39.5 out of 40.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
She really wanted harder choreography this week.  She danced the Jitterbug this week.  This was another favorite of mine.  One lift got kind of messed up but it was really fun.  Her score was 37 out of 40.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
Last week was the best ever so she needed to keep pushing herself.  She danced the Mambo this week.  This was my favorite.  It was sassy but sexy.  It was perfection!  Her score was 39.5 out of 40.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
He did amazing last week and was hoping to continue this week.  He danced Hip Hop this week.  It was very good.  I loved the 90's retro feel.  Karina fell during the danced but nobody minded.  His score was 34.5 out of 40.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She emerged as a leader last week and was ready for more.  She danced Contemporary this week.  It was really good.  She even had a broken toe.  I loved all the passion and emotion.  Her score was 37.5 out of 40.

DWTS All Stars: Double Eviction

It is results time again.  Two All Star couples will be exiting the ballroom tonight.  The first hour replayed all of last nights dances.  Just in case you had missed anything.  The result show started with the judges choosing to see Shawn's dance again.  I loved that dance SO much.  Melissa, Gilles, and Emmett are safe.  Kirstie is in danger.  I really didn't love her dance so I'm not shocked.  Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey danced a jive together while Frank Marino sang.  It was very very good.  Shawn, Apolo, and Kelly are safe.  Drew is in danger.  I really liked his dance plus I just love him.  Drew is the first to leave the ballroom tonight.  Last night a twist was revealed.  The All Stars must pick dances for each other to perform next week.  Some have never been on the show.  Gilles got Bollywood.  Sabrina got Disco.  Shawn got the Mambo.  Emmett got Bolero.  Apolo got Hip Hop.  Melissa got the Jitterbug.  Kelly got Contemporary.  Helio got Broadway.  Kirstie got the Charleston.  Bristol got Rock and Roll.  I'm very excited for these dances!  The spotlight performance was about a boy tap danced in subways to get money for college.  I loved it!  Karmin performed a medley of Brokenhearted and Hello.  I love these guys a lot.  Bristol is safe.  Sabrina and Helio are in danger.  Helio has been eliminated.

DWTS All Star: All Stars Take Over

Can you believe it's already week 3?  This week the celebrities take over the entire routines.  They helped with choreography, outfits, and everything the pros normally do.  They must choose any iconic dance from past seasons and make it their own.  The judges want to see something they've never seen before.  This week is very critical because 2 couples will be eliminated tomorrow night.  Two announcements were also announced.  The first was that Paula Abdul will be a guest judge.  The second was that the celebrities get to choose the dance style for each other for next weeks show.  It could be a style never done before or one that has rarely been done.  It's all about strategy.

Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya:
He wanted his performance to feel like a concert.  He danced a Cha Cha this week.  I loved it!  It had giant fans and he took his shirt off.  Who doesn't love that?  Plus it was very fun and upbeat.  He got a 24 out of 30.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
He had trouble choosing an iconic dance because he didn't want to offend anybody.  He danced a Tango this week.  I'm not usually a fan of him but tonight I was impressed.  He started by flying up off of a bed so it was like a dream state he was dancing in.  It was very dramatic.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
Since it is a double elimination week she wanted dangerous moves in her dance.  She danced a Samba this week.  It was AMAZING!  It was one of my favorite dance of the night.  The tricks had never been done on TV before and they were perfect.  Her score was 27 of 30.  It was the highest score of the season so far.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
He wanted to show his sexy side this week.  He danced the Foxtrot this week.  It was definitely sexy.  I couldn't look away!  He had her start off as a statue and then he brought her to life.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
She had time of from her soap opera job this week.  She danced the Paso Doble this week.  It was very good.  It had great chemistry and passion which this dance requires.  The judges declared them the couple to watch.  Her score was 27 out of 30.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
She just wanted to finally have fun.  She danced to the Cha Cha this week.  It was very entertaining that's for sure.  I don't think it will be enough to make it through though.  Her score was 24 out of 30.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel:
Her goal was to contuine to stay on top of the leader board.  She danced a Pao Doble this week.  It was very good but it wasn't very creative.  She played it way too safe for this season.  Her score was 25.5 out of 30.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
He really wanted to show the judges something they had never seen before.  He danced the Paso Doble this week.  It was very good.  It had a desert feeling and even had a real donkey.  His score was 25 out of 30.

Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower:
Last week was his first time ever in the bottom.  He danced a Quickstep this week.  It was really great until he messed up slightly.  His foot got caught up in her dress.  I still enjoyed it though.  His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas:
She wasn't thrilled with how her dance went last week.  She danced a Paso Doble this week.  It was my favorite dance of hers ever.  It was so good.  It was on a chess board and she was the queen he was the king.  I loved it.  Her score was 22.5 out of 30.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
The judges wanted more from her.  She danced the Quickstep.  It was the best dance of ALL TIME!!!!!  I loved this dance!  She did break some rules but it was just amazing!  Her score was 26.5 out of 30.

It's finally Friday!!!  I'm so excited for this weeks share.  I've heard of Cody Simpson for about a year now. I had just never listened to his music before.  Since I not going to the Justin Bieber concert this year I looked up clips of it on Youtube.  While looking at clips I saw one of Cody Simpson and watched it.  I'm obsessed now!  He's so cute and amazing.  My favorite song is called All Day.  I hope you all have a great weekend.

DWTS All Stars: Next Celebrity Eliminated

It's time for the another celebrity must exit the ballroom.  For the first hour the judges picked the defining dance for each celebrity from their season.  Each celebrity commented through the dance chosen.  The judges chose to see Sabrina's Quickstep again.  It was my favorite dance last night and even better tonight.  It's time to announce who is safe or in danger.  Drew, Sabrina, and Emmett are safe.  Joey is in danger.  I'm honestly shocked.  He was amazing last night.  Next week the celebrity's get full control over the dance.  It is also going to be a double elimination.  Two All Stars will be leaving the ballroom.  British singer Cher Lloyd performed her single Want U Back.  If you follow my blog, then you'll know I love this song.  I featured it on Music Friday a few weeks back.  Her performance was really good.  I loved the circus theme.  The Macy's Stars of dance was up next.  I really really liked it.  It was a lot like Westside Story which two different sides.  The troupe performed and I actually liked it.  Lacey and Benji Schwimmer also joined them.  I've never really liked the troupe.  Shawn, Kirstie, and Bristol are safe.  Kelly is in danger.  I'm very surprised Bristol is safe because she had the lowest score last night.  Katherine Jenkins sang a duet with Plácido Domingo to the song Come What May.  It was beautiful.  I just love her. She should have won her season.  Gilles, Melissa, and Apolo are safe.  Helio is the final celebrity in danger.  The fans love him so it's surprising.  Kelly is safe leaving it between Joey and Helio.  Joey is eliminated.  I'm so upset!  I was totally Team Fatone!!!  It is the All Stars though.

DWTS All Star: Week 2

It's week 2 of Dancing With The Stars. Last week Pamela Anderson was eliminated. Now there is only 12 celebrities left. Remember the judges can now give half points.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani:
Last week the judges thought her Foxtrot was too theatrical. This week she danced the Jive. On her previous season she had been injured and couldn't perform the Jive. Tonight was her redemption and she was so good. Her score was 23.5 out of 30.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas:
Last week she was the most improved dancer. She definitely has a lot more confidence. This week she danced the Quickstep. I have to say it was very odd but interesting. She picked a country song which isn't normal for this dance style. The rules were also broken because she broke hold in the middle. Her score was 18 out of 30. This is the lowest of the night.

Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower:
Last week the crowd was cheering before he even danced his Foxtrot. This week he danced the Jive. I really enjoyed it. There were a few mistakes but he still did a great job. His score was 23 out of 30.

Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff:
Last week he was not in the top three. This motivated him to work harder. This week he danced the Quickstep. I loved it! It was very fun and elegant. His score is 24.5 out of 30.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel:
Last week she was a little out of control. She had the to dance the Quickstep this week. It was amazing! It was my favorite of the night. She was much more tamed and very high energy. Her score was 26 out of 30. This was the highest of the night.

Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy:
Last week she didn't step up to her full potential. So this week Maks pushed her harder. They danced the Jive. It was better than last week but still not great. She's the oldest and really needs to step it up. Her score was 21 out of 30.

Emmett Smith and Cheryl Burke:
Last week he was at the top of the leader board. He danced the Quickstep this week. He didn't do so well. I think he got too cocky. The judges let him know it too. His score was 22.5 out of 30.

Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya:
Last week he was in the bottom 2. It was his first time being in that position. This week he danced the Jive. I really liked it. I've never seen him do a dance like that. His score was 22.5 out of 30.

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson:
Last week he showed he still has the moves. This week he danced the Quickstep. I adored this dance so much. It was set up like a silent movie plus it was funny. His score was 22.5 out of 30.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough:
Last week the judges said her Foxtrot was not traditional. So shes bringing out her secret weapon which is gymnastics. She danced the Jive this week. It was amazing and so fun. Her score was 25 out of 30.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy:
Last week was her first time dancing in 7 years. This week she danced the Quickstep. It was OK. I found it to be a little boring. Nothing stood out to me. Her score was 22 out of 30.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd:
Last week the judges wanted more from him. He's the first celebrity to have an injury this season. He hurt his hamstring. This week he danced the Jive. It was great. I couldn't even tell he was injured. His score was 25.5 out of 30.

Tomorrow another celebrity must exit the ballroom. Check back to see who. Next week the All Stars take over the dances.
